Okay so I was thinking and this is for Vinny,Russell, and Levi....Yall do the best job at writing great shows each and every week. And for the past month or so I've been chipping in little by little with what I am asked to help with..And I was thinking Myself along with probably a few others would more than be willing to help with at least one or two matches a week in order to help speed up results..Thoughts?

I've mentioned before that I would love to help write matches. If I only have to write a few, it would mean that I'd be able to write better quality matches because I'd be able to spend more time on them.

One thought - why not set up a match writer's forum? Doug & co can post the weeks matches, what they want (i.e. full matches or recaps) and then people can say what they're up for writing. Obviously if they want to write everything themselves then that's up to them and they can post in the forum that they plan to do so.
It means everyone knows who's doing what and if you want to work an angle/spot into a match you'll know who's writing your match and can send them a message, making it easier to tailor matches to fit storylines.

I'd definitely be willing to help out when I can as well. I like Mike's idea of signing up for matches via the forum. That way, people know what match they're writing ahead of time. The writers can work with the guys who are actually in the match directly, rather than having to put all the burden on Vinny, Russel, and Levi. And it just plain promotes involvement, which is always a good thing.

Thank you all for stepping up to help. What we wanted to do was make a list of match writers and give each writer a # then when we posted a new card we would assign a match writer # to it that way we knew as well as the writer who was doing what. How do you like that idea?

Or you can post the card and have anyone reply in that thread who wants to write a match with each match they want to write.

Will we be able to request if we want to write a specific match? Say myself and JD Screw had a match and wanted one of us to write it so we could ensure it fitted in with storyline could one of us request to write it or would it be completely random?

If Levi and Vinny don't mind me requesting this-- If push came to shove and the problems we're having escalate, I can step in and start posting results. In order for me to do that, I would need the recaps/match writings sent to me as well in order Vinny can't do it. You can send a PM to multiple people by having a comma separating the names.
ie: admin,theorangesoflife
If Levi and Vinny are cool with this, I can start posting results in the event that needs to happen. Now, my work schedule has me working two weekends a month (Saturday Night-Tuesday Morning) and I'm off two weekends (same days). On the weekends I am off, pending all is in order, I could have the results up by 1AM EDT Monday morning (on the weekends I am off) or by Noon EDT on Monday (if I have to work that weekend, my workdays are 7:30pm-7:45am EDT)
Levi and Vinny, please consider that as well, I'm hoping that'll take some of the pressure off.

Also, Levi, I was listening to the radio show the other day and I heard you talking about using your PS3 to write stuff and how it takes forever. I have a PS3 as well and got REAL sick of using the controller to type. You can actually plug a USB keyboard and mouse to the PS3 and use them just like a PC. Just thought I would mention that and save you some hours:)

I've been in feds where results were weeks late, but then again that was with full matches written every week. If anything is left that needs writing let me know, I'll be able to do it by 8am British Summer Time tomorrow (not sure what that is in EST!).
I hope GWA doesn't go on another hiatus, there's so much potential in this roster!

There won't be a hiatus. Vinny and I just spent the last hour and 15 minutes tallking and we're going to do ASOLUTELY everything in our power to try having results up by Midnight EDT. London is 5 hours ahead of EDT, so it'd be 3am EDT. Anyway, we'll get this done.
