We open in the locker room of the newly crowned GWA World Tag Team Champions, The New Revolution. Jaz Moundfield is sat with his belt across his lap, reading an English newspaper. After a few moments a large silhouette emerges over him and Jaz looks up to see his tag team partner and co-champion The Monster. Jaz puts the paper down and gets to his feet, looking up at the 7ft 2in leviathan stood before him, title belt draped across his shoulder. Jaz pauses before smiling and shaking hands with The Monster, still stoney faced. Both men turn to the camera.
Jaz: GWA...allow us to introduce ourselves formally...I am Jaz Moundfield, former EUWC Tag Team Champion, current GWA World Tag Team Champion, and regardless of what the likes of Rob Winter, The British Union and...(pauses and smirks) Classy Mike C say, England's finest wrestling import. And this is my tag team partner and co-champion, all the way from Bucharest, Romania...7ft 2in, 520lbs of pure pain, The Monster!
Monster (staring menacingly into the camera): …
Jaz: …you'll have to forgive his silence GWA, you see my comrade reserves his words only for when they are truly needed. Together, we are The New Revolution and we are here to bring change and pain to Worldwide, to the Tag Team division and to the whole of GWA. Now forgive me if I'm wrong but was there a better way to launch GWA's flagship brand than by crowning some new champs? That Thunder chump Rob Winter took away the TV Title, Vinny Falcone brought in some new belts and that walking, talking apple pie The American Hero somehow dethroned Tsunami. But we all know the match that mattered, the event that made Worldwide the truly great show, and that is the crowning of The New Revolution as Worldwide's number one tag team. It feels great to have some gold once more, and I don't know about you Monster but I don't intend on giving it up easily.
Monster: …
Jaz: Quite. Now this Sunday we make our first defence of the belts against the other three teams on the brand, and this really is an opportunity to show dominance. In the slightly brown-tinged corner you have The Bulldogs; a team who we out-smarted, out-wrestled and just plain destroyed last week. Now Billy, Bobby, I know it's tough to find time to dedicate to perfection. I know that you'd rather be in a bar than in the ring, but all I have to say to that is shape up or s**t off! You may have last a while in this division while it was basically a joke but your fun ends here! Next we have, in the multi-coloured, slightly camp corner...The Dipper Brothers. Now Tinky Winky and Dipsy Dipper don't seem to get on all that well and showed it last week when they let The Bulldogs pin them! I mean, come on! You got pinned by a Bulldog? If you guys prove any sort of obstacle then there is something seriously wrong. Right Monster?
Monster: …
Jaz: And then, in the red, white and blue corner, we have The British Union. My fellow countrymen, a team who look impressive on their GWA debut and have pretty much stunk up the place since. Tom, Dave...hmm, sure I've heard a British tag team with those names before...I'm going to take great pleasure in showing the GWA community that a British-based tag team doesn't have to suck hard when I beat both of you like carpets! And finally...in the gold corner...
Jaz points to his and The Monster's belts. The Monster remains still, staring into the camera intensely.
Jaz: In the gold corner we have the champions, The New Revolution! Boys, Sunday will be the first opportunity to lay down a marker in the GWA Tag Team division and it's an opportunity that myself and The Monster are not going to take lightly. You've all been around here, stinking up arenas all over the world for months. Now is the time for change, now is the time for a revolution, and on Sunday we will show all six of you just why we are the men to do it!
The camera fades to black.
