Hi again everyone, it's the GWA Reviewer , here with my thoughts and opinions of the recent events in Worldwide #14 and Thunder #2. Without further adieu, here we go:
After what seemed to be a dismal week on Worldwide last week, Vinny Falcone bounced back and crowned three new champions this week for the Continental Title, the Young Lion Title, and the Tag Team Titles. Vinny felt he and his talent had something to prove and prove it they did. The match qualities were far better than last week and they seem to have now set the standard on what's to come in the coming weeks/months. We have seen a series of attacks in the following weeks on GWA programming, and I think the question is on everyone's mind... Who is this psychotic madman and what does he want? Too many consecutive weeks of it and it could spell total disaster for Vinny Falcone. The superstars of Worldwide provided a lot better experience this week and I look for them to continuing to improve.
On Thunder, Levi Hershey had some plans of his own this week to try and top Vinny Falcone. Two of the GWA's past talents returned with one things on their minds... total annihilation and destruction of the Thunder roster. Does Levi Hershey have something in mind to thwart these two men's efforts? Also, we saw Levi exercise his long arm of the law and ordered a superstar to run a five match gauntlet with some heavy implications hanging in the balance. The superstar emerged victorious and thwarted Levi Hershey's plans.. a big eye-opener for me as I was in the audience at Thunder watching all of this unfold. What shocked me the most was the group attack after the gauntlet. Overall, the Thunder brand stepped up to the plate and made things happen this week. The talent, like last week, performed at an awesome level, but I think the men on Thunder could still improve as well. Improvement does begin with "I".
It was a very close and intense battles on both brands, and in the end, Thunder slightly outwitted Worldwide for the week. Good job to the Thunder brand, but remember Worldwide can strike at any time and take your glory.
Until next week everyone...
